Create a realistic "under construction" text effect

A few time ago, I needed a text to create an "under construction" mood. That time I generated a text that was a big success. It was similar to this one I teach you now.

To create this one, surf to this online 3D text effect maker, so set its parameters as explained (to get that result, don't change the shadow options):
- 3D text style: 9th item;
- Text: Construction (type "under" before or choose your own text);
- Font size: Normal;
- Margin: 4;
- Background color: C06000;
- Get as a transparent PNG file: unchecked;
- Font name: Bombardier.

Making exactly as proposed, you create an amazing text effect as you can see below (click to enlarge):

Extra tips:
- this effect can be generated with an anti-aliased transparent background (select the "Get as a transparent PNG file" option);
- that subtle dirty look helps to improve a "men at work" atmosphere;
- beware too dark background colors can decrease the 3D look, because they make the shadows harder to see;
- if you intend to try other fonts, prefer the very regular ones;
