Today we will create a text made of green gelatin. I hope this idea can help you someday.
You can create this effect by surfing to this free online text effect and putting these values:
- Text: Gelatin (choose your text);
- Font size: Big;
- Margin: 4;
- Background color: FFC0C0;
- Font name: Kiss The Sky.
Making as I told you, the final result you get is like this (click to enlarge):
Extra tips:
- in this case, it's a very good idea to choose a irregular font face to get a kind of "flaccid mood";
- I have chosen this back color just to highlight the text itself. Many different backgrounds can give you a nice result;
- if you prefer gelatin in a different color, you can change your image by going to this online image editor. So select "Colorization" in the left side menu, so choose the color you prefer and apply the filter. As an example, I changed the image above into a pink gelatin text (shown below). Anyway, beware it will change the color of the image background too;
- create other amazing text effects by using these online text effects.

TUTORIAL: a text holed by fire
Let's make one more burning text. This one is like if the text was made by holes created by fire.
To generate this one, open this online fire text effect and configure the interface like this:
- Text: Holed (set your text);
- Font size: Big;
- Margin: 6;
- Background color: not used;
- Font name: Fanzine.
Doing as explained here, you get something like this (click to enlarge):
Extra tips:
- the used font is responsible for the "holed look", but you can get other interesting results by choosing different font faces (there are more than 400 fonts to choose from);
- if you want a fire with stronger colors, go to these free photo effects. Click "Color Improvement" in the left side menu, so apply the third available effect over the fire text two times. Doing this way, your image turns like shown below;

TUTORIAL: an old broken wooden text effect
It's time to generate another text made of wood. It has broken parts, so it can give us an old or damaged look. I hope it can be useful for you.
You can create it by going to this wood text effect generator. There you should set these parameters:
- Text: wooden (set your text);
- Font size: Big;
- Margin: 3;
- Background color: FFA060;
- Font name: Opium.
Making like said above, you get this result (click to enlarge):
Extra tips:
- I used a background that matches brown colors, but this effect gives nice results with other back colors too;
- the used font helps to generate an old appearance, but the software has many other great fonts to chose from, including others that have a broken face;
- you can create a slight 3D look by changing the shown image: go to these online photo effects, so choose "Detail Enhancement" in the left side menu. There are two effects: the first gives a small 3D look and the second gives a stronger one. If you like the improved result, but feel it's too bright, decrease the image brightness as a final step;
- create many other wooden text effects by using this big list of online professional text effects.
